Sport is an integral part of the College's life. The sporting programme at the College offers all students the chance to participate in a wide variety of sports. The programme not only caters for the elite but leads all students forward in further developing their skills. Our students are trained and well prepared for any competition that they enter. The Director of Sport leads a panel of experienced coaches.

Internally the College sporting programme is based around a strong House competition. This includes the College's major carnivals of Athletics, Swimming and Cross-country. There is a lunch time sport competition allowing students the opportunity for a structured sports programme during their lunch break.

The College's extra curricular programme includes the following: Athletics, Basketball, Football, Swimming, Cross-country, Futsal, Golf, Australian Rules Football, Netball, Tennis, Cricket, and Volleyball.

The competitions for these sports are linked to the Sports Association of Catholic Co-educational Secondary Schools, SACCSS involves fourteen Catholic Colleges, that compete in the following areas: Major carnivals in Athletics (Olympic Park), Swimming (Melbourne Aquatic Centre), and Cross-Country. Competitions are also held in Golf, Futsal and Tennis.

This Association emphasises the sports persons' good code of conduct, the students compete in competitions in the appropriate manner. The College always performs to a high standard with uniform and behaviour at an exceptional standard.

Australian Rules Football at the College runs through the Football Development Squad.

Football is a prominent sport at the College. The College regularly helps develop both male and female players and coaches. The College has in the past few years supplied 15 Futsal (five a side football) state representatives. As well as providing five players for various age groups to represent Victoria at the National Championships. The College has four students in the Football Federation Victoria Elite Athletes Programme. There are also two players selected for the National Youth League squads at Melbourne Victory and Melbourne Heart.

Sport within the College is in a very strong position, but the vision is there to see it improve. New facilities include new ovals, Football pitch and multi-sports fields, as well as a state of the arts Athletics track. With this type of backing the College can only move forward. We welcome your children to our sporting programme.
